How to Raise Your Vibration to Create a Life You Love

   You’ve probably heard of The Law of Attraction, but have you heard of The Law of Vibration? The Law of Vibration is actually an immutable, primary law for getting what we want out of life and attracting our deepest desires, this is because it’s the very essence of our existence.

  Science has proven that everything of this earth and beyond is energy. You, me, our thoughts, trees, dreams and money are all energy when analyzed at it’s most basic form and the law of vibration concludes that everything (all energy) is ever moving and vibrating at various frequencies.

  The reason why many of us aren’t able to attract our deepest desires is because many of us typically aren’t aware of or haven’t mastered our energy or vibration and often times we’re vibrating at different frequencies than our desires.

   So many of us (myself included) tend to fall into the lower vibrational frequencies of human emotions such as fear, guilt, stress, anger, doubt and so on. And if we believe that obtaining our desires will make us feel happy, grateful or secure but we’re not feeling any of those feelings NOW, then we’re (by law) not able to attract that desire into our life because we’re not vibrating at the frequency of what we want.

  When we begin to understand how energy and the law of vibration works, we can begin to consciously create a more ideal experience by raising our vibration and shifting our thoughts, feelings and emotions to align with our dreams and deepest desires.

Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality that you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It cannot be any other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics

   So how can we begin to raise our vibration to match the frequency of what we want out of life? I created a list of 10 powerful practices for getting into alignment with your big vision below:

10 Powerful Practices to Raise Your Vibe

1. Cultivate Love and Compassion

Cultivating Love and Compassion in your daily life is one of the quickest ways to raise and maintain a high vibration.

There are so many ways to raise your vibration through cultivating love and compassion. Some examples include listening to binaural beats or guided meditations, praying for the well-being of others, random acts of kindness or donating to causes you care about.

2. Deepen Your Connection with Crystals

Like everything else in this Universe, crystals are made of energy. Dense objects like crystals have more condensed energy and the sub-atomic particles of the crystals vibrate incredibly fast, thus their frequency tends to be very high and are perfect tools for raising our vibration.

Note: It’s important for us to develop a relationship with any crystals that we want to serve us, so that we can truly reap the benefits of them. Nurturing our connection with our crystals and setting our intentions from the beginning will open us to more receptive to their offerings of deep, energetic healing and positive transformation.

3. Get You Some Essential Oils

Okay, so I want to talk science for a minute here.

A healthy human generally has the frequency of about 62 to 68 Hz. Where as the frequency of pure grade essential oils can reach up to 580 freaking MHz!

Some frequencies of common essential oils are Peppermint (78 MHz), Lavender (118 MHz), Frankincense (147 MHz) and Rose (320 MHz). With the highest frequency belonging to Young Living’s Idaho Blue Spruce at a whoppin’ 580 MHz.

So as you can imagine, essential oils are an incredibly powerful tool to aid us in raising our vibration and promoting some seriously deep energetic transformation.

If you happen to be someone who’s sensitive to essential oils or are playing it safe during your pregnancy/breastfeeding journey (like I did), flower essences are a perfect alternative for producing similar effects. If you want to learn more about flower essences, you can read my blog post here.

4. Take a break from technology & social media.

I can’t emphasize the importance of this enough! Don’t get me wrong, technology is a wonderful tool and does seriously amazing things for us but it can also be very depleting on our energy, especially when we allow ourselves to get lost in the screen (scrolling down our newsfeeds, envying other people and their lives on Instagram, constantly checking our e-mail, etc.).

Cell phones in themselves, emanate radiofrequency energy (a form of non-ionizing radiation) and although some consider the electromagnetic frequency that they transmit and receive to be really weak and unable to directly damage the DNA, others question if this is really true. And beyond that, research has found that cell phones can affect our brain activity and cause insomnia (which is something I’ve experienced first hand).

And I don’t know about you, but whenever I get lost looking at other people’s social media (especially Instagram), I always feel like shit after. As much as I’d love to say I’m above the comparison game (I’m still a human) and do these things from time to time.

With that being said, my best advice for you would be to avoid your phone completely an hour before you go to bed and don’t touch it until an hour after you’ve been up. And to try your best to use your time on social media more intentionally and productively. It’s a process, but it feels so much better when you’re able to start shifting how you spend your time on it.

5. Feel Gratitude for all that you already have

As I’ve briefly mentioned before, thoughts and feelings vibrate at various frequencies and gratitude is one of the highest frequencies of thought/feeling that there is. When you feel grateful for what you already have (like, truly embody the feeling of being thankful), you begin to attract more things and experiences to be grateful for. It’s as simple as that.

And when you’re in a state of gratitude, you’re like a freaking power house and a master of manifestation. This is the best time to state your affirmations or express how thankful you are to be living out your dreams (say it as if it’s happening right then and there, and continue to feel it).

6. Get Creative & Express Yourself

Self-Expression and Creativity is my absolute favorite way to raise my vibe. Expressing yourself helps you to positively address and work through your emotions, and creates that space for new ideas and divine inspiration to come through.

All creative activities will help you raise your vibe from making, listening or dancing to music, to making art with any or multiple forms of media to writing poetry or spoken word. However it is that you choose to creatively express yourself is perfect.

7. Treat Yo’ Self

Things that make you feel relaxed or at ease will without a doubt always raise your vibe.

There are so many ideas as to what self-care looks like and how to apply it in your life, but the only ideas that really matter are the ones that resonate with you.

With that being said, I encourage you to create a list of 5-10 things that make you feel good (at ease, relaxed, connected, whole, whatever) and to make it a priority to do at least one of these things once a week or more.

Making time to care for ourselves is vital for our well-being and brings us back into balance, so we can focus on the things that matter and truly be present in our every day lives.

8. Practice Creative Visualization

Visualization is such a powerful tool in any given situation and can be utilized in a variety of ways to raise your vibration.

One way is to visualize yourself in a more ideal or aligned situation, environment or experience. And to of course really explore and feel into the details of that vision. The absolute PERFECT time to do this is when you’re in a state of joy, gratitude or abundance.

Another way to do this is to place your hand on your heart and focus on it for 10-15 minutes and visualize and feel your heart emanating light and love. Our hearts actually have a magnetic field and when we look inward and focus on it, the energy begins to expand to 9 meters wide.

The longer that we’re able to be in tune with our hearts and sustain this good vibration, the more energy and power we have and when we’re able to combine that energy with clear intention, miracles begin to happen.
 

9. Consume High-Vibe Foods

Like flowers, the food that we consume varies in frequency. Processed and canned foods typically have a frequency of zero, where as fresh and organic fruits, herbs and vegetables have a very high frequency.

I don’t know about you, but cold pressed fruit juice is LITERALLY the freaking best and you can absolutely feel the difference in your body when you choose to nurture your body with fresh, raw and organic foods versus canned and processed foods.

10. Go out in Nature, Hug Trees, Make Earthing a Spiritual Practice.

There’s nothing more healing than being immersed in Nature. And I mean, being really present in the moment. Walking barefoot on the earth, feeling your toes press against the grains of ancient soil or playing in the rain.

  All of my favorite childhood memories were when I was doing something outside and one that specifically stands out to me is a time that I spent hours playing in the mud. You know, I think as adults we start to think that doing things like this at our age would be absurd but sometimes, it’s exactly what we need.

Beyond these ten powerful practices, you have the ability to energetically tune yourself into the frequency of what you desire by shifting your thoughts, feelings and emotions. This often takes time and consistency, but the more that you apply these tools to your life, the more natural they become and the easier it is for you to choose differently and stay in alignment with your vision.

  A few ways you can begin to shift your thoughts, feelings and emotions are:

1. Choose a New Thought or Emotion to Embody

Catch yourself when you begin to fall into negative emotions and thoughts that don’t feel good for you and say “You know what, man. I don’t have time to be thinking about all this bullshit. I have a beautiful life to live. This doesn’t feel good and I’m ready to feel good. I choose different. I choose to think thoughts and embody emotions that feel good. I choose to be happy.”

And this may come up different for you. You may address it differently and however you do is fine. The point of it is that YOU are making the decision, you are talking control and you are choosing to shift your thoughts, feelings and emotions to ones that better serve you and your vision.

2. Let it all out

The answer to shifting your thoughts, feelings and emotions is not to ignore them, shame them or bottle them up. The best way to move beyond them is to allow them, feel them and then let them go (release the attachment to them).

A practice that I consistently preach about is page pouring. Write EVERYTHING down (all your feelings, regrets, pain, pondering thoughts, to-do’s, what have you), and write until you absolutely have nothing left to write about.

Page pouring allows you to process your thoughts/feelings/emotions in a positive and healthy way and helps you to release the energy that’s no longer serving you, so that you can create space for the thoughts/feelings/emotions that do.

3. Zen Out & Tune In

Meditation is one of the most powerful tools that has been bestowed upon us ;).

But seriously! Meditation will give you all the answers you’ll ever need and it will raise your vibration almost immediately. And when you’re in a meditative state, you’re so (SO) incredibly powerful and you’re able to manifest things much more quickly and efficiently (especially) when you do it consistently.

So make sure you make it a priority to zen out and tune in for at least a few minutes every day.
